Leo Farber has been with Hall & Associates LLC since it was founded in 2002, representing domestic and international clients in industries including transportation, homeland security, energy, insurance, and defense. He serves as an advisor to the Aviation Safety and Security Digest.
In addition to lobbying on behalf of clients before federal and congressional branches and agencies, Farber counsels public and private sector clients on issues ranging from media relations and public affairs to crisis management and communications. Moreover, he is responsible for a wide range of projects, including aviation safety and security consulting, aviation/rail/highway/insurance litigation consulting and strategy, contract and labor negotiations, energy issues, pipeline safety, and automobile regulatory matters.
Prior to joining Hall & Associates, Farber was with the firm of Dillon, Hall & Lungerhausen LLC in Washington, D.C., where he was responsible for federal and congressional affairs, and media relations.
A graduate of the American University - Washington College of Law, Farber served on the executive board and was senior editor of the school’s Business Law Brief. The publication was the recipient of the American Bar Association’s 2005 award for Best Law Student Magazine. Farber gained international experience studying law at the Universidad de Chile as well as through coursework in international economics and European Union law in London, Paris, Geneva, and Brussels in 2003.
Farber earned a master’s degree in international affairs with a concentration in international politics from American University in 2005, and received his bachelor’s degree in international affairs with a concentration in Latin American affairs from George Washington University in 2001. While at George Washington, he was awarded the university’s prestigious Presidential Academic scholarship.
Farber is a member of the Maryland and the District of Columbia bars. He is fluent in Spanish. |
